Unite Walk 2021:

Frequently Asked Questions

Unite Day is a chance to bring the national Bleeding Disorder Community together in a virtual celebration. Most years, we celebrate with community members in the local area of a chapter's walk. But this year, we're offering something different. You are invited to come together right here with national and local bleeding disorder communities to celebrate life and healthy futures for our community.  From challenge we will rise and create a world where treatment is available for all and education and support are at the core of how we care.

Unite Day and this virtual event hub is the venue for your local chapter's Unite Day activities (ex. walk program + pinwheel ceremony), to celebrate progress together nationally, and for you to connect with other members of the Bleeding Disorder Community + persons impacted by bleeding disorders.

Chapter events will be taking place across the country to celebrate the Bleeding Disorders Community! Be sure to visit your local chapter page to see their day-of agenda. You can do so by simply selecting your chapter above or go to "Find Your Chapter".

Not at all! We encourage you to participate in a local walk, however, your presence and participation in Unite Day’s National Celebration is enthusiastically requested regardless.

While anyone can participate and fundraise for Unite for Bleeding Disorders, we understand that most participants live in the region of the walk. If you are interested in fundraising for Unite for Bleeding Disorders, you can do so here.

Unite Day is an accompaniment for all Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk. Since most walks will be virtual this year, chapters are hosting their events through this website and National Hemophilia Foundation is hosting special opportunities for community connection on September 18th, 2021.

Your participation in Unite Day is separate and complimentary to your fundraising for Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk in your local community.
